Dr. Brittany Ranieri is an award-winning psychiatrist and educator who has lectured to psychiatry residents, OB/GYN residents, and medical students through didactics and grand rounds presentations. She focuses on reproductive psychiatry, perinatal mental health, integrative women’s mental health, substance use disorders in pregnancy, bipolar disorder in pregnancy, and breastfeeding considerations.
Dr. Ranieri has also presented research and clinical scholarship at statewide conferences, including the Florida Psychiatric Society Spring Meeting and the Florida Perinatal Mental Health Conference in Tallahassee, FL. Her poster presentations and lectures have addressed topics such as contraception education in community mental health settings, catatonia and autism spectrum disorder, and innovative approaches to substance use disorder care for pregnant and parenting individuals.
In addition to her extensive teaching and conference presentations, Dr. Ranieri is a published author in Cureus and has received numerous honors recognizing her leadership and academic excellence. She was awarded the 2024 Outstanding Resident Teacher Award at the University of South Florida, named a recipient of the Florida Psychiatric Society’s 2024 Tom and Donna Buchanan Grant Award and the 2025 Resident Achievement Award, and earned multiple distinctions including membership in the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
